As a native of Brooklyn N.Y. John's first experience with the Catskill Mountains was over 35 years ago on a camping trip. The lure of the mountains brought him back on weekends for 20 years. In 1988 John purchased six acres of land in Roxbury and soon after built a log home on the property. For seven years he was a part time resident, becoming full time in 1995. John believes the benefits of living in the Catskill Mountains are simple.. the peace and quiet, the wildlife, being able to hunt and fish in the mountains, the fresh air, and the best water in the world! John was the recipient of the Otsego/Delaware Board of Realtors ROOKIE OF THE YEAR Award and TOP PRODUCER Award in 2004. He later became broker/owner of his own agency Central Catskill Real Estate.
