Mid-to-late July is traditionally the start of berry picking season in our region. Picking your own is a fun outdoor activity that creates fond memories for both young and old. But blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and blackberries aren't the only things available for pickers to enjoy. Depending on the month, our local farmers also offer U-pick apples, vegetables and even flowers!

Be sure to check ahead with the farm you're interested in visiting to make sure what you're looking for is in season. And don't forget to visit them again in the fall. Pumpkin season is just around the corner!
