When we ask people why they chose to buy a home in the Catskills, many say the food. They are lured by the farm fresh food that can be found at farmers markets, stands and stores. They also fall in love with the abundance of farm-to-table restaurant that cover this entire region. Today we are spotlighting Matthews on Main, located on the Delaware River in the town of Callicoon. This eatery is a favorite of locals, weekenders, visitors alike.

Early snow in the  Catskills region which means that some of our winter activities  got an even earlier start this year.  A good number of our ski mountains are officially opening this week and we wanted to take this opportunity to list all the places you can enjoy the outdoors this season.
