Vintage Base Ball in the Catskill Mountains

Looking to do something you've never done before? How about attending a Vintage Base Ball game in the Catskill Mountains. This historic game is a nod to centuries gone by as teams play by the base ball (yes, it was two words back then) rules of the 1800s. Not only do they play by the rules, which in most cases includes not using a mitt, they also wear classic uniforms.

Attending a game is a sweet moment to laugh and enjoy a taste of the way things used to be. The games are jovial, fun, and playfully competitive. We have a handful of teams in the Catskills including the Kingston Guards, the Saugerties Vintage Base Ball Club, the Mountain Athletic Club, the Bovina Dairymen and the Delhi Polecats Vintage Base Ball Club. Bring your friends, your family, a blanket, and some snacks to enjoy as you cheer on your new favorite team!
