There are many different events and fairs that take place year-round in the Catskills. Each town and each county has a different expression, with a variety of people bringing events to the community. Below are some major events, fairs, and festivals taking place throughout the Catskills. From the classic Americana explored at county fairs, to the unique vendors and musicians at the City of the Hills Festival, there is something for everyone in the Catskills.

Sullivan County
Grahamsville Little World's Fair
August 18 - 20th
Grahamsville Little World's Fair is now in its 143rd year, fully equipped with fun for the whole family! Enjoy carnival rides, food, vendors, and a variety of events such as a Power Wheels Race, draft horse pull, watermelon eating contest, and so much more. Get your taste of small town and big fun at this Grahamsville Fair.
Otsego County
City of the Hills Festival
September 16 - 17
City of the Hills Festival was founded in the 1980s to celebrate the unique talents of the people of Oneonta and the surrounding area. This is a two day event with live music, a craft beer tent, family activities, and local vendors.

Ulster County
28th Annual Artists Soap box Derby
August 20th at 1pm
This is a celebrated event of wild and wacky sculptures that will roll down lower Broadway in Kingston and into the Historic Rondout District. These non-motorized, moving sculptors are built by professional artists, creative individuals, and families, for an afternoon of laughter and fun.
Summer Hoot
August 26, 27, 28
Summer Hoot is a festival of music, with guided hikes, and activities for the entire family hosted by the Ashokan Center. Drop in for a day or camp the entire weekend. You can choose to bring your own tent or rent one of the cozy cabins on site.

Delaware County
Delaware County Fair
August 14 - 19
This week-long event is one of the largest agricultural events in the Catskills. Specific attractions include tractor and farm equipment demonstrations, livestock contests and encounters with over 1,000 animals. There is great food from corn dogs to cotton candy and local favorites, carnival rides and live entertainment all day, every day.
